Glyphs

This series is on a coated canvas surface which resists the application of acrylic paint. By carefully brushing the surface with a properly mixed color, I am able to create a textured background upon which I play with various shapes to create the images I ‘find’ suggested by the drips, droplets and sizes of various blobs. Because these images are reminiscent of cave drawings, hieroglyphics and other secret messages, I call them Glyphs.
