“˜Attitudes’, a series of dramatic serigraph prints, were originally executed with wide brush strokes in black ink on white archival paper. Each image is in a limited edition of 50, numbered and signed by the artist. All in this series except one are figural images, which impart emotion with a minimalist approach. Collectors relate to these images because they can identify with the themes, recognize the feelings and nostalgia they evoke. The one landscape, a serene scene of utter tranquility, allows the viewer to use his or her imagination to complete the view. These brush paintings are influenced by Chinese calligraphy, conveying an impression of spontaneity and exuberance, and requiring great skill to execute. By omitting unnecessary detail the artist invites the viewer to participate in the creation of a visual concept.
